Privacy policy

What we collect
When you create an account, we collect your email address. If you sign in with Google, we receive the name and email address associated with that account. When you complete a simulation session, we store your responses, scores, and session history so you can track your progress over time. If you upload a CV, thesis, evidence record, or other document as part of your intake, we store the extracted text content of that document to personalise your simulation sessions.
How we use your data
We use your information to provide the service: authenticating your account, running your simulation sessions, generating scored feedback, and showing your session history. If you purchase a Prep Pass, Viva Standard, Viva Premium, Professional Assessment, or a custom build, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
AI processing
Your session answers and, where provided, the extracted text of any uploaded documents (CV, thesis, evidence record) are sent to Anthropic to generate questions, follow-up prompts, and scoring. Anthropic processes this data solely to return a response to PanelReady and does not use it to train their models under their standard API terms. Your data is not used to identify you outside the context of your session.
Data sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the service providers required to run the platform: authentication (Clerk), payments (Stripe), database storage (Vercel KV), and AI processing (Anthropic). Each operates under their own privacy and security standards.
Data retention
Session history and scores are retained for as long as your account is active. Uploaded documents (CV, thesis, evidence record) and your intake context are stored for a maximum of 90 days from the date of upload, after which they are automatically deleted. You can delete your uploaded documents and intake data at any time from your dashboard, or request full account deletion by emailing hello@panelready.io.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You can remove uploaded documents and intake context directly from your dashboard. To request deletion of your full account and all associated data, email hello@panelready.io and we will action your request within 30 days. If you are based in the UK or EEA, you also have the right to data portability and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
Cookies and tracking
We use essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We also use Google Tag Manager to understand how visitors use our site and to measure the effectiveness of our marketing, which may set analytics and advertising cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings. We do not sell the data collected through these tools to third parties.
